Halfway through the 2009 summer period equity markets continue to exhibit excessive volatility and lack of investor conviction. On the positive side, the first concrete signs of economic recovery are starting to appear largely due to the massive government monetary and fiscal stimulation. With the assumption that this economic recovery will be sustained we believe that the present period of financial uncertainty provides an excellent opportunity to restock, trade and upgrade investment portfolios.
