Global equity markets have been remarkably robust during the month of April. Nonetheless, there remains considerable price volatility exacerbated by continued international banking concerns, commodity pricing, corporate earnings, currency fluctuations and now, swine flu. In spite of these factors, we believe investors should stay the course and stick to economic and corporate fundamentals. Overall, we believe that the North American economies are slowly repairing themselves and that company prospects and earnings will gradually improve.
