| With the lingering concerns of sub-prime mortgage loans,asset-backed commercial paper, the Northern Rock financial problems in the U.K., etc. many investors have become rather fearful and are avoiding the equity markets. As a result of this market turmoil and significant share price volatility numerous investment opportunities are emerging. It is our view that these problems, albeit serious, will eventually pass and that opportunistic stock purchases made at this time, will in the context of a 12-18 month time horizon, provide excellent long term investment returns.
