| With the end of the traditionally weak August-September period we are now entering a time of historical market strength. In the past, this late fall/early winter span has habitually led to a late year market surge commonly labeled the Santa Claus Rally. While past occurrences do not ensure that this event will recur, this year, we would not be at all surprised to see a meaningful late 2006 rally. In consequence, investors should be alert with regard to timely opportunities.
