Presently, the whole investment scene appears very murky due to a subdued economic recovery, erratic corporate earnings and an uncertain political environment.
At the same time, stock market volatility has substantially increased over the past few months as the growing investor indecision becomes more deeply embedded. Overall, we remain relatively optimistic and encourage selective common equity purchases. We expect excellent investment returns over a 12-18 month holding period, however, we believe investors will have to remain extremely patient, deeply disciplined and opportunistic as they must look past the present economic turmoil.
