While it is quite tempting to bottom fish and to stock up one's portfolio with severely depressed high technology and biotechnology
shares, we presently believe that is is best to avoid them.
It is our opinion that value securities and small
capitalization stocks, in particular, should continue to outperform the general
market to at least the end of 2002. Although it is becoming increasingly
difficult to ferret out these undervalued stocks after the recent price run-up,
we believe the painstaking search is well worth the effort. |
